	A common theme of the Romantic poets was the depiction of the artist as a nonpareil individual. Given new innovative technologies to mass-produce literature, authors began to attract a more diverse audience besides the traditional aristocrats. Given a broader circulation, popular poets received public attention which bred confident dreams. John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley were two of the “Big Six” in Romantic literature who glorified individuality and dreamt of the legacy one leaves behind after death.
